Tonight we prepared jiaozi, Chinese dumplings. These are normally meat and chopped vegetables wrapped in a thin piece of dough. You boil them (or fry) and then can dip them in soy sauce or other prepared sauce. I actually grew up eating them in Japan, too. They are delicious and the kids all enjoy making them and eating them. We also fixed fried rice and everyone had their fill.
Sorry to scare you with all of these....we normally practice much better manners at the table!
