Day 5 - Road Trip - Glacier National Park

Whew, it was cold last night!  It was nice to get up and out in the sun.  We had a yummy pancake and bacon breakfast, then it was off to explore GNP.

I love the mountains, the snow, the natural lakes, the grandeur of it all.  It does my soul well to be in this kind of land, the West!  We all love it here.  Johanna even asked if we could move here.

We did a couple of short hikes to overlook more beauty....the delicate alpine flowers, the waterfalls, the weathered landscapes...so much to take in.  Ahhhhh.

This was Johanna's post when she asked if we could move here.  She sat up on her vista point and said she was going to sit until she saw some wildlife.  My animal lover got to see chipmunks, soaring birds, mountain goats, and a bear.  What a treat!

In this view you can see Jackson Glacier, not much remains of it.

After a day of enjoying God's creation we had fun in the campground pool (well, mostly in the hot tub!).
