Day 6 - Road Trip - Montana to Oregon

It was another day on the road.  We were unable to leave crossing through Glacier's Going-to-the-Sun Road because they were still clearing 85 feet of snow pack.  Yes, that's a lot of snow and drifts!  They had 200% precipitation this last winter and were hoping to have the summit cleared in another week or so.

So, we took an alternate route around the park that consisted of a lot of this.....

 ....and a lot of this.

But we got to see a lot of this......

 ....and this.

We finally got through to Idaho....

.....and to Washington.....

And to OREGON!!

We set up camp along the beautiful Columbia River, but we can't wait to get to our destination tomorrow and for the next few days.  Are you ready Woodruffs???  We can't wait!

And I might add that we're extremely happy, after 48 hours of nothing, to be back in the land of cell service and wi-fi.  :)
