Our road travels through the day brought us beautiful views along the Columbia River gorge, the spectacular Mt. Hood, and then finally the Pacific Ocean. It feels so good to be on the coast, by the Pacific, feels like home to me.
The kids were all getting a bit slap happy the closer we got to the Woodruffs. Our kids have never met (except for Abby and Ami in China as babies), but it has always felt like they know each other. It was so fun to see them hit it off and start playing immediately. We're looking forward to a fun few days ahead!
We've seen these windmill things several places along the trip. Chris thinks they are freaky. :) We've also seen individual blades being transported along the highway. They are huge!
Chris is looking pensive!
Ahhh, Mt. Hood:
We stopped to see Multnomah Falls, beautiful!
We also stopped to see my Auntie Karlyn and cousin Alena. It had been seven years since I'd seen my aunt and 23 years since I was my cousin!
Arriving at the Woodruff's:
Amy had a little 4th of July birthday party for me. Thank you!
We brought Ram's stuff for the Ram's fans.
