A Brand New Smile!

We celebrated Michaela's getting her braces off today!  Corn-on-the-cob was top on her menu choice.  We also had some yummy candies, such as caramels for dessert.  She has been a super patient and has done well taking care of her teeth during these 2+years.  What's most astonishing to me is seeing the maturity that has happened since August 2009.  I think this momma may just have to go shed a few tears.

The girls also participated in a Christmas program for with Far Above Rubies group this afternoon.  This was Ami's first year, and she did a great job singing along with all of the songs, reciting Scriptures, and standing on the stage.  We are very thankful for Miss Angel, truly an angel, that leads the girls by example and helps instill in them wonderful character qualities.  There are roughly 80 homeschooled girls that meet once a week for this program.
