A Visit from Cousins

We hustled through school this week so that we could enjoy some time off at the end of the week with two of our KC cousins.  Aunt Kate came with Elle and Zane for some fun play time.  Elle told her mom a couple of weeks ago, "I NEED my Ami!"  Indeed, these two girls have a pretty special bond and it's fun to watch them together.

Zane is certainly all boy and doesn't disappoint the older two Wolfe boys that enjoy wrestling and teaching him all the stuff boys should do.  The kids did all the usual....Wii, dress-up, nail painting, reading, movies, riding bikes and scooters.  We also went to Bonkers yesterday afternoon to use up some of the energy they had bottled up since it was too wet to play outside. 

The moms got in coffee and a movie, too.  It's great to have family close enough to come play for a couple of days.  Thanks for filling up the gas tank and heading this way guys!

One week apart in age, but Elle has the height on Ami right now.  I think she was cheating just a bit in the back-to-back picture by standing on her tiptoes (thus the sly grin!), but she is indeed a good bit taller than Ami.  Oh, they love each other dearly!

We had sunshine and rain.  Playing under the blossoms was beautiful one day, then playing in the "snow blossoms" was beautiful the next.
