The Tree of Life at the center of Animal Kingdom is pretty impressive. It has carvings on it of all different animals. I think the kids thought this might just be a glorified zoo, but it was so much more. Again, it was much more than we could have imagined!
All but Johanna and Ami took turns riding Expedition Everest. Oh my, I think it's one of my top favorite roller coasters ever! This is a shot of the screen where you can purchase pictures (me and Elijah in front, Benjamin and Michaela second). We rode it 2 or 3 times each. It goes forwards and backwards with lots of fun along the way. Again, the attention to detail everywhere is incredible. Even in the queues there is much to see and explore.
The Flights of Wonder show was great with birds swooping over and around us. We have compared things a few times to our last year of having season passes at SDC and it just doesn't even compare. We're loving Disney World!
So glad to be past the stroller stage and stroller parking lots!
The Safari was incredible!! I think it's the closest you can ever come to being on a real safari in Africa. If we had time, we would have done it again and again.
Another parade....very creative....very loud....but all fun!
The Lion King show was spectacular! Wish we could see this again, too.

Ami was inspired to be a tiger for much of the afternoon after Lion King.
Even though we got back to camp in time to fix a late dinner, it was another very full day. The kids weren't too tired to go for an evening swim, though. The pool is open 24 hours, but of course Dad and Mom didn't last very late into the night, so we corralled the kids and snuggled into our sleeping bags for another cool night. It has been a bit chilly here, only getting into the low 70s in the afternoon. We've worn sweatshirts for much of the day and have been a bit cool in the tent at night.
