Happy Easter

We enjoyed a beautiful day here yesterday.  It started our early with a sunrise resurrection service at church, then breakfast with church family (yum!), then regular church service, then Sunday School.  We came home to finish preparing for our Easter dinner with our neighbors.  They came bearing lots of goodies for all, including an early birthday present for Johanna.  We enjoy their friendship and having some "grandparents" just up the road.

As one of Michaela's sewing projects for school, she worked on making her first dress.  I wasn't a whole of help to her, and she pretty much followed most of the pattern on her own.  It turned out beautifully and she was excited to wear it for Easter.
