Yes, it's a big birthday month at our house. Yesterday we celebrated Chris' birthday. He went in to work a bit late so that we could enjoy some cinnamon rolls with him as well as the opening of a few gifts.
Ami thought it would be a hoot to wrap her gift for Daddy in her princess wrapping paper. So funny!
Dad is a good sport and acted "angry" at Benjamin's fun loving teasing.
Oh yes, the evening meal report: Rigatoni, French Bread, Lima Beans (seriously?!), and Chocolate Cake. :)
We are very blessed with such a wonderful Dad and husband at our house. We realize it's a blessing that not everyone can claim. Chris works very hard outside of the house, as well as when he's at home. It seems like he is forever repairing toys or objects for the kids and toiling away at a never ending honey-do list. He takes the kids on individual dates, as well as regular dates with me. He leads our family in devotions each night, as he has since Michaela was a wee one. He has learned to enjoy camping and our long road trips with me. He exercises physically and spiritually each day. He serves friends and neighbors with his computer skills, yard work, or wherever else needed. He serves at church by teaching Sunday school. We think he's the best! We love you, Chris. Happy Birthday!
