Skate Party

Last night our church rented the local skating rink and we took in a couple of hours of punishment great exercise.  We invited Cici to join us....it was her first time ever on skates!  Poor girl is likely going to be very sore and bruised this morning, but I think she enjoyed it.  She kept trying and was doing pretty well by the end of the evening. 

The kids enjoyed getting to hang out with some of their friends for one last time before we head across the Pacific.  We are blessed to have such a warm church family.

We are finishing up a lot of "lasts" before our 36-hour long trip ahead.  Michaela had her last lesson with her Japanese tutor yesterday.  We have very much appreciated Mrs. W coming to our house each week.  Michaela has a lot of skills packed into her brain and is looking forward to using them in Japan.  Two more days until wheels up, and yes, I plan to blog and share lots of pictures of our adventures.  Can't wait!
