Disney World - Magic Kingdom

We felt the Magic, we are sure Dreams Do Come True, and we dropped exhausted into our sleeping bags at the end of a very long, but very fun, day!

We left our resort campsite by 8am, caught the bus to the boat, then rode straight over to Magic Kingdom.

We rode lots of rides, explored islands, and met many, many characters for autographs.  I had purchased a couple of little books for Johanna and Ami to have in case they wanted autographs, but much to my surprise all of the kids wanted signatures!

The Hall of Presidents was pretty spectacular.  I love how family oriented and patriotic Disney is.  We were impressed over and over with the attention to detail of everything in the Kingdom.  We were constantly treated to feasts for all the senses.

We watched an afternoon parade as well as the evening electrical parade.  Again, pretty spectacular and lots of fun.  Oh, did I say it was loud?  Everything here is loud, even the kids are plugging their ears!

A walk down memory lane for Chris....the kids weren't impressed, but it's a classic.

Ami has loved inspecting her autograph notebook and writing down all the characters names herself, too.

Oh the princesses....Ami was in awe.  The boys were too bashful to have their pictures taken with them, but they sent their books with the girls to have them signed.  :)

We stayed until the very end.  The fireworks were at 10pm and it was easily eleven before we were all back at the tent.  A fun time was had by all.  Michaela and Benjamin thought they might be a bit too old for Disney World, but they quickly changed their minds.  They are all loving it!

And the best part....we've had thanks yous, and more thank yous from all of the kids.  Makes it all worth it!
